GM ONBOARDING

 

 

What is the program?

A comprehensive onboarding journey for Managed General Managers across Northern Europe.

The programme is designed to engage them with Accor from the start of their journey and to equip them for their new position.

 

Who is it for?

Professional & Executive Leaders who have just started in their roles as General Managers

Ideally for first time General Managers, but also for those experienced General Managers in need of a refresh or for whom the scope of their role has changed significantly

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

To support the new General Manager as mentee as they start their new role

 

Who are the mentors needed?

Operational - Senior GMs, VPOs, SVPOs

 

How long will the mentoring last?

6 months with the possibility to extend if needed

 

 

 

 

What is the program?

Programme for graduates. Designed to enable high-potential graduates, with a passion for people to start their career with Accor.

Builds a strong leadership foundation through a variety of work placements & creates a leadership pipeline of new talents. 

Can be offered to existing talents.

 

Who is it for?

Emerging Leaders

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

To support the graduate from the beginning of their career

 

Who are the mentors needed?

Operational - HOD or General Manager

 

How long will the mentoring last?

To begin 3-6 months of starting the program for 6 months meeting once per month

 

 

 

 

What is the program?

Fostering Gender Diversity in Management and developing a motivated network of female leaders enhancing their leadership capabilities.

 

Who is it for?

Woman - Professional & Executive Leaders

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

  • Gain greater understanding of your own personal motivations
  • Develop a personal brand to create a powerful first impression and communicate with confidence and impact
  • Accepting what you truly are by being aware of your strengths and utilizing them but also by being aware of your weaknesses and working on them

 

Who are the mentors needed?

Senior GMs, VPOs, SVPOs

 

How long will the mentoring last?

6 months with one session per months

 

 

 

What is the program?

One year program to release the potential of a pool of selected Talents whose next career move is General Managers.

Fast track program with training, mentoring and collective coaching.

Accompany, support and develop Bloomers from their application to the program through to the commencement their new position.

 

Who is it for?

Professional Leaders whose next career move could be future General Managers (or the number 2 in a larger property)

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

  • To accompany the mentee for the start of his/her new role
  • Helping the mentee to grow in identified areas such as resource management, project management, leadership, change management and influential communication.
  • Build a professional relationship with a hospitality industry expert that enriches Mentor & Mentee.
  • Set realistic professional development objectives and provide the keys to reach them.
  • Cultivating commitment

 

Who are the mentors needed?

Operational - Senior GMs, VPOs

 

How long will the mentoring last?

One year of mentoring - path to be defined between mentor & mentee.
During the final 6 months of the Bloom program + 6 months after the programme to accompany the mentor to his/her start of new position

 

 

 

What is the program?

This is not a program in a traditional sense, but rather aims to match Mentors and Mentees under the umbrella of RiiSE, Accor’s Diversity and Leadership network.

 

Who is it for?

Leaders at all levels who are looking to develop and grow.

Ideally for Mentees not enrolled in other programs. Those that are new to their role or looking to progress to another level of seniority.

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

To support Talents as mentees as they start their new role or are looking to progress to the next level.  Mentoring is underpinned by the motivation to achieve gender parity across the organisation. To help more women into leadership roles and for the development of inclusive managers and diversified teams in our hotels and support offices.

 

Who are the mentors needed?

Managers and Senior Managers across operational and support functions

 

How long will the mentoring last?

6 months with the possibility to extend if needed

Who is it for?

All Talent for Support offices & from all hotels of Northern Europe

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

Mentoring offers opportunities to share and develop knowledge, experience and skills between mentees and mentors.
It is a living experience in which both mentees and mentors must be free to develop a win/win relation which prepares them to learn from each other.

 

Who are the mentors needed?

All Talent for Support offices & from all hotels of Northern Europe who have already done the Mentoring training available to all on the Learning for All Platform

 

How long will the mentoring last?

It is an open formula. Up to Mentor and Mentee to decide at what pace they wish to do so & to define together what success might look like beforehand.

Depending on how the relationship is working within the pairs, the mentoring journey can of course continue after the fixed deadline

 

 

REVEAL TALENT

 

 

What is the program?

REVEAL TALENT aims to develop Heartists® who have not followed a path of further education to support them in reaching a first-time hotel management position; thus contributing to a rich and diverse talent pool in line with Accor’s projected growth and expansion.

 

Who is it for?

Future & Emerging Leaders of all managed and leased hotels worldwide.

 

Purpose of the mentoring in this program?

To offer individualized support from a hospitality industry expert to help delegates understand the environment and foster leadership, communication and job skills.

 

Which mentors are needed?

Managers and Senior Managers across operational functions.

 

How long will the mentoring last?

The full 6-month duration of the Reveal program.
